When ever the mac detects a new network port it should automatically appear in your list of available ports you should not need to manually add it.

It also shows up in the Network Utility as en2, just as it should. I have this problem with network usb drive ralink hwug1a. What instructions whug1a you using, URL please? Use the plus button on the bottom left of the window.
I have setup a few usb dongle that use this chipset and have always had more success using ralink. So, how do I add this new port???

Problem consistent, I’ve also downgraded fusion to max. Ask a question Reset. What am I missing? Once everything was hhwug1a, I plugged in the device – and up came the message that a new network device had been detected.
In Linux there are command-line ways to do this, but I’d like to learn the “right” way to do it in Mac OS. So, I do believe since it used to work that something is amiss with Apple’s usb driver.
It used to work fine. I unplugged the hama device from the USB port, installed the patch, and restarted my machine. Has anyone else had this problem, and is there i dont see one a thread on apple or bugtraq about this?
